LWE Engineering Sdn. Bhd. (“LWE”), formerly Lian Wah Engineering Sdn. Bhd. was established in 1982 initially as Lian Wah Refrigeration & Electrical, a sole proprietor enterprise undertaking the design and installation of air-conditioning and electrical services for cold rooms and commercial sectors.
From this humble beginning, the Company expanded into a reputable Electrical & Mechanical and Cleanroom contracting firm specialising in the building construction sector, particularly in high-technology industrial construction and integrated building development.
During these three decades of business, we have streamlined our business portfolios and repositioned our company in line with our vision to become a significant professional player in the high-technology contracting line. Accordingly, our company name has also moved on with the times from:
1982 – Incorporated as Lian Wah Refrigeration & Electrical Co.
1991 – Re-incorporated as Lian Wah Refrigeration & Electrical Sdn. Bhd. (Private limited entity)
2000 – Changed our name to Lian Wah Engineering Sdn. Bhd.
2009 – Changed our name to LWE Engineering Sdn. Bhd.
Our head office is in Kuala Lumpur, the capital city of Malaysia. To ensure total customer support nation-wide, we have established branches and site offices in major cities and towns across Malaysia, namely Penang, and Melaka.
In year 2007, we achieved a significant pinnacle milestone when we attained the
ISO 9001:2000 certification for our quality management system, which was recently re-certified to ISO 9001:2015.
As we continue to grow as a dynamic professional company to serve our clients, we are confident of achieving many more milestones in the years to come.
